AML Leukemia
If you served in the armed forces and have developed AML leukemia also known as Acute Myelogeneous Leukemia we can help you obtain the VA benefits you deserve. Like many cancers associated with exposure to toxic substances (in this case benzene) the latency period from the time of exposure to the time of the development of the disease can be many years. As such, veterans do not always appreciate the nexus between their time served in the military and their current illness. At Veteran Helping Veteran, we are very familiar with AML leukemia claims. We have handled many of these claims in the past and feel very confident in our ability to navigate such claims through the often murky waters of the VA application process.
AML leukemia is typically associated with a soldier that was exposed to an industrial setting very similar to the setup of large navy vessels. Additionally, those soldiers that were around petroleum or gasoline type products during the military are at significant risk for development of AML cancer. Certain cleaners and solvents often used in the military are also found to be agents responsible for causing AML. If you are veteran who has developed this condition our volunteers would like to speak with you to determine whether you will be entitled to VA benefits. The overwhelming odds are that you will be. Even if you have already applied for benefits and have been denied, we can help.
Please fill out our easy to use form or call us today to speak with a veteran volunteer that specializes in helping veterans who have an AML VA claim. Remember, you are not alone in your fight. Veteran Helping Veteran is here to help.
